Normal Culture

Normal Culture is a fashion and swimwear label founded by Jelaminah “Jela” Lanier in 2016. The business began with hats and T-shirts before Lanier taught herself patternmaking and sewing and developed swimwear as its central category. Its current SS26 “Retro Riviera” collection, shown at Miami Swim Week 2026, revisits popular silhouettes through a Mediterranean-inspired print, vivid color, and trim detailing. The label also emphasizes representation in runway casting and has been reported as operating from Los Angeles with locally sourced fabrics.
