Miami Swim Week Sponsorship: How Brands Open the Partnership Conversation

The official sponsorship inquiry runs five sections, from company profile and named contact to thirteen partnership opportunities, marketing objectives, and preferred participation year. Here is what brands should agree on before opening the form.

Miami Swim Week sponsorship begins with a single official inquiry form, and the questions it asks reveal how the partnership team actually works. The form does not open with packages or price tiers. It opens with the brand: what the company sells, who is authorized to speak for it, which opportunities it wants to explore, and which marketing outcome the partnership is meant to produce. Miami Swim Week®: The Shows then shapes the audience, activation, and hospitality opportunity around those answers. Brands that settle those points internally before they start the form tend to reach a real conversation faster.

One inquiry, five sections

The sponsorship inquiry is one continuous form divided into five sections: company information, primary contact, sponsorship interest, social presence, and event participation. Required fields must be complete before the form will submit, and progress saves on the device being used, so a marketing lead can begin, wait on an answer from a colleague, and return to finish. The official sponsorship inquiry is the route the partnership team reviews, and it sits alongside the designer, model, and media forms on the applications hub.

  • Company information: the organization, its industry profile, website, and address
  • Primary contact: the person the sponsorship team will correspond with, and how they prefer to be reached
  • Sponsorship interest: the partnership opportunities and marketing objectives on the table
  • Social presence: the channels and hashtags that represent the brand
  • Event participation: which programs the partnership would sit inside, and in which year

Company information and the industry checklist

The first section establishes who the brand is. Company name, website, company address, city, state, and country are all required, with an optional field for a brand name when it differs from the legal entity. Industry is a checklist rather than a single choice, which lets a company that genuinely sits across categories say so instead of forcing itself into one label.

  • Beauty
  • Telecommunications
  • Fashion
  • Jewelry
  • Lifestyle
  • Hospitality
  • Beverage
  • Wellness
  • Technology
  • Automotive
  • Travel
  • Other

A company that does not fit those twelve categories selects Other and completes a short free-text field. The website field is required and expects a full URL, so a brand that is still building its site should have a live page ready before opening the form.

Primary contact and preferred method of contact

The second section is short but strict. First name, last name, title, email address, mobile phone, and office phone are all required, and the section closes with a preferred method of contact: email, phone, or text message. Listing the person who can actually approve a partnership budget, rather than a shared marketing inbox, is what keeps follow-up moving once the sponsorship team responds.

Sponsorship interest is where the partnership takes shape

The third section carries the most weight. It asks a brand to select every opportunity it wants to explore, at least one selection is required, and thirteen options are listed. The range is deliberate: some are program-level titles, some are spaces inside the event, and some are product-led placements.

  • Presenting Sponsor
  • Title Sponsor
  • Exclusive Sponsor
  • Supporting Sponsor
  • VIP Lounge Sponsor
  • Beauty Lounge Sponsor
  • Gifting Sponsor
  • Hospitality Sponsor
  • After Party Sponsor
  • Sustainability Partner
  • Product Sampling
  • Gift Bag Inclusion
  • Brand Activation

A second required checklist covers primary marketing objectives. This is the question that lets the sponsorship team match a brand to the right moment in the program rather than simply the largest one, because a product launch, a retail sales push, and a B2B networking goal each point toward different placements.

  • Brand Awareness
  • Product Launch
  • Product Sampling
  • Retail Sales
  • Lead Generation
  • Influencer Marketing
  • Celebrity Exposure
  • Social Media Content
  • Press Coverage
  • Consumer Engagement
  • B2B Networking
  • Hospitality and Client Entertainment
  • Investor Relations
  • Other

Social presence

The fourth section collects Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, plus any campaign hashtags. Every field here is optional, and either a handle or a complete profile URL is accepted. For brands whose stated objectives lean toward social media content, influencer marketing, or consumer engagement, this section is worth completing anyway, because it is the fastest way for the team to see how the brand already speaks to an audience.

Event participation and preferred year

The final section decides where a Miami Swim Week sponsorship would actually live. Brands select at least one program from three options, and more than one selection is allowed. Miami Swim Week®: The Shows is the swim and resort runway program in Miami Beach, and the New York and Lincoln Road programs extend the same platform into different rooms and different calendars.

  • Miami Swim Week®: The Shows
  • New York Fashion Week Powered by Miami Swim Week®: The Shows
  • Lincoln Road Fashion Shows

A preferred participation year follows, with 2026, 2027, 2028, and a flexible option that leaves the timing open for discussion with the team. An optional notes field closes the section, and the form suggests using it for activation ideas, timing, markets, or audience details. A required confirmation completes the inquiry: the applicant confirms the information provided is accurate and authorizes the sponsorship team to make contact about partnership opportunities. The button is labeled Submit sponsor registration.

What to have ready before opening the form

Nothing in the inquiry requires a finished deck or an approved budget, but a few answers are worth agreeing on internally first. Gathering them ahead of time turns the form into a ten-minute task instead of a thread that stalls between departments.

  • The legal company name, brand name, live website URL, and full company address
  • One named contact with a title, email, mobile phone, and office phone, plus their preferred contact method
  • A shortlist of the partnership opportunities the brand genuinely wants to explore
  • The marketing objectives the partnership is meant to serve, in priority order
  • Social handles and any campaign hashtag the brand wants associated with the activation
  • The programs of interest and a preferred participation year, or a note that timing is flexible

Terms, availability, and anything specific to a given edition are settled in conversation with the sponsorship team after the inquiry is reviewed, not on the form itself. The job of the form is to make that first conversation accurate.
