PLIVATI was founded by Julianne, a mother of two young boys and a husband with Croatian heritage who, along with her love for the Mediterranean and fashion, provided the influence for the name and brand. PLIVATI in Croatian translates to ‘swim’ in English.
Growing up on the beaches of the Gold Coast, Julianne has always had a love of the beach and swimwear. A former young fashion model and with years of corporate business behind her, Julianne put her skills into practice to create and design the brand PLIVATI.
PLIVATI provides women and men with modest swimwear in Mediterranean-influenced prints and comfortable, high-quality material and designs that are chlorine resistant and UPF 50+. A limited children’s range has also recently been added, with swimwear for girls and boys to match Mum & Dad.
A new recycled and sustainable collection has been partially launched with two new prints and an array of new designs that can be mixed with the previous collection. Part of the new collection is now available for pre-order with new designs to be added soon!
For many years, PLIVATI has done its best to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Everything they send to their customers is sent in reusable, biodegradable zip lock bags that can be used for wet swimwear when out and about. They are also mailed in compostable, biodegradable satchels.
