Eight was started by two sisters with one goal in mind: to start a swimwear line with the belief that women should feel free to celebrate fashion, culture, and individuality. Bathing suits shouldn’t reveal vulnerability, but rather empower women to feel best in their own skin.
Our swimwear is made in four-way stretch fabric, sewn with seamless stitching, and lined in the same matte color to give a peek-a-boo effect. We believe perfection is in the details.
The name Eight comes from 8 sisters or 8 siblings, it also represents a woman’s silhouette and the infinity sign. Our line was designed to be timeless… We’re a Puerto Rican / Miami brand. We draw most of our inspiration from local art and fashion in Puerto Rico, but also incorporate the Miami lifestyle.
